Welcome to our website!

Welcome to the website of Carron National School. Our spacious school building and grounds is located in the heart of the Burren, in North Clare. Our two full-time teachers teach children from infants to sixth class and we have a shared learning support teacher. We offer teaching in all nine curriculum subjects, as well as inviting visiting instructors in diverse extra-curricular areas.

Our school is a bright spacious building, set in attractive school grounds. We regularly use the surrounding Burren environment as an outdoor classroom and our pupils have a strong sense of the uniqueness of the environment in which we are situated.

We have a caring, inclusive ethos in our school. We are proud of our family atmosphere and work hard to ensure that children are safe, happy and aware of their potential.
