Mission Statement

St. Cronan's NS, Carron, is a co-educational, Catholic Primary School in which we wish to provide a well ordered, caring, considerate and happy environment for all pupils. It is a school in which the intellectual, moral, cultural, emotional and social needs of the pupils are identified and addressed.

While St. Cronan's NS is a school under Catholic Patronage, we respect pupils and families with other religions and none.

St. Cronan's NS will strive to promote, both individually and collectively, the professional development of teachers. St. Cronan's NS will endeavour to involve parents through an open door policy, through valuing the parents' input in formulating relevant school policies, through the Parents' Association and the Board of Management.

St. Cronan's NS will endeavour to enhance the self-esteem of everyone in the school community, to imbue in the pupils respect for people and property and to encourage their personal sense of responsibility.

St. Cronan's NS will promote gender equity amongst the staff and students.
